So lately I’ve been experimenting with raw vegan recipes and last week I made this amazing yummy raw vegan avocado and chocolate slice!
This recipe is three layers! its dairy free, gluten free, nut free (if you wish) and soo yummy!
What you will need (Bottom layer):
- 240g pure oats (I used GF ones)
- 4 Tablespoons of cocoa powder
- 4 Tablespoons Peanut butter (I used the nut free one)
- 100ml Coconut oil
- 2 tablespoons of maple syrup
- 4 Tablespoons of butter (dairy free if you wish)
- 1 Tablespoon of vanilla extract
What you will need for (Middle layer):
- 2 ripe avocados
- 1 ripe banana
- 150g of coconut butter
- 100g of almonds
- 1 tablespoon of vanilla extract
What you will need for (Top layer):
- 2 tablespoons of cocoa powder
- 1 tablespoons of maple syrup
- 1 tablespoon of vanilla extract
- 100ml Coconut oil
 Instructions:
- Bottom layer
- Pour all ingredients in a food processor
- Blend until all mixture is consistent
- Transfer into a square mould and place in fridge while making 2nd layer
- Middle layer
- Slice banana and cut avocado and place in the food processor with the rest of the ingredient
- Blend until mixture is smooth
- Pour middle layer on the square mould and freeze for an hour
- Top layer
- In an bowl mix all ingredients
- And pour it all to form the top layer or decorate it whichever way you suits you
- You can also use some desiccated coconut to decorate the top and place in the fridge for another 20minutes
- Cut into square and store in airtight container for a maximum of 2days!
