Hi everyone, I hope you’re all having a great weekend wherever you are! 🙂
This will be a super short post where I’ll share with you a strange fact about myself and a super cool beauty tip.
So what is it??!
Well my strange fact is … I’ve NEVER EVER used a deodorant or antiperspirant spray in my life! No seriously, I never bought neither am I planning to use one any time soon.
Instead what I use is a LIME – in fact just a slice of lime will do me! My mum shared with me this amazing tip years and years ago and to be honest It worked wanders I NEVER felt the need to buy a deodorant or antiperspirant.
This is not even the best part, the best part is the fact that I don’t even need to apply it every day, I only use it once a week and sometimes even once a month and it get rid of the smell completely! AMAZING!!
However, if you have been using deodorant and/or antiperspirant for years you might have to use it daily until your body gets use to it.
I personally prefer this method for the following reasons:
- It’s CHEAP!!
- I don’t have to worry about smelling wherever I go nor continuously apply deodorant or antiperspirant on my armpits every time I sweat!
- I believe that when people use a deodorant and/or antiperspirant their body gets addicted to the chemical and demands more and more!
- I don’t have to carry a deodorant or antiperspirant with me every time I leave the house
- As a dark skinned woman I find when using deodorant and/or antiperspirant your armpits gets discoloured for whatever reason! Whereas when you use lime it actually does the complete opposite!
Lime juice is actually known to help with acne scars as well as it provides vitamin C and flavenoids, both containing antioxidant, antibiotic and disinfectant agents beneficial for clear skin. Not to mention, topical application works to slough off dead cells and promote skin elasticity and new skin growth.
- & finally It’s natural 🙂
& here you have it ladies hope you found this post interesting! 🙂

Omg. Life changing! I’ve been using aluminium – free aloe vets deodorant for the last 10 years because of the harmful research on aluminium. But this idea I love…!
