Hi everyone, so the past few months I kinda haven’t been eating the best foods for me, over indulging here and there! & on top of that i haven’t been working out – simply I just haven’t put myself as a priority!
Anyhow, I have just recently moved to Shanghai which is one of the main reasons, for the above (lack of self care, over working, trying to be social!) but I honestly couldn’t wait to get back into kitchen, experimenting with food, posting recipes on here & instagram & most importantly get back to my health & fitness journey!
However I would say that i’ve learnt a lot about myself the past few months, including things related to my overall health & wellbeing! Anyways this is a food blog and not a journal so lets just get into today’s recipe which is honestly simple, easy, raw & refreshing!
One thing I have learnt over the course of the past few months is that self care should always be a priority! If you don’t put YOURSELF 1st then you have nothing to offer to others…
” You can’t pour from an empty cup! look after yourself first.”
 
Anyhow, what you will need for this salad recipe
Ingredients for salad:
  1. Chickpeas
  2. Tomatoes
  3. Cucumber
  4. Avocado
  5. Carrots
  6. Lettuce
  7. Spinach
For your dressing:
  • Apple Cider Vinegar
  • Black pepper
  • Salt
  • Lemon
  • Tahini (optional)
Instructions: 
  • This recipe doesn’t really need much instructions you just need to wash everything and slice all your ingredients to your desired size and/or shape
  • & then just decorate your salad bowl the way you want it
  • For you dressing you want to add everything in a small bowl or cup and mix the ingredients with a spoon 🙂
