Is this really fear or are you simply causing your own anxiety?

Hey everyone, today I am sharing a list of things that could be causing you to feel unease and/or anxious in your everyday life. These are things that you are most likely unaware of or haven’t suspected to be the reason behind your anxiety. But the good news is that these are things we can change right away.

I think it is important to share this list and be aware that there is a difference between real fears that we need to address and work on and other things that are causing our day to day anxiety.

Firstly, lets distinguish fear from anxiety….

What is it Fear?

Fear is a resistance of mind to an imagination of conditioned mind, that occurs in certain types of organisms, which causes a change in metabolic and organ functions and ultimately a change in behavior, such as fleeing, hiding, or freezing from perceived traumatic events. … An irrational fear is called a phobia.

What is the difference between the two – fear & anxiety?

There is a clear and present object of the fear. Although the focus of the response is different (real vs. imagined danger), fear and anxiety are interrelated. When faced withfear, most people will experience the physical reactions that are described under anxietyFear causes anxiety, and anxiety can cause fear.

I am not going to discuss fear in this post as I firstly want to you to rule out whether you might be causing you own anxiety through the habits i am going to share soon… or whether you really do have fear – which you need to work on and eliminate.

So here is the list of things that might be causing you to feel anxious, without you even realizing:

  1. Stimulants/ caffeine

Do you drink or take stimulants regularly? if so, try eliminating them and see how you feel? yes withdrawal symptoms will include anxiety & stress initially but after a week or so you should feel a much calmer smoother state! I am a coffee lover myself but I am currently challenging myself to quit this month! A trick i do, its switch my coffee mug with something different & tell my mind that i am drinking coffee! lol Right now i am drinking Matcha – which is amazing for you! i wrote a blog post on Coffee VS Matcha check it out here.  Also you can drink turmeric chaii which is AMAZING for inflammation and over all health!!




2. Nutrients 

Are you eating the right nutrient and enough food? make sure you are feeding your body the best food – healthy gut = healthy mind!

3. Exercise

Are you moving your body? Movement is really IMPORTANT!!! Have you every worked out and regret it after? NO! no one does! doesn’t have to be anything hectic, but moving, dancing, yoga, going for a walk for at least 30mins a day is really crucial! a lot of our health problems stem from energy blockages in our body – so make sure you are moving and/or stretching daily! 🙂

4. Planetary positions

Something we can’t control but we can be aware off! it helps to know 🙂

5. Side effects of medications

Are you currently taking any medication? if so, check if anxiety is a side effects most likely will be! all medications have side effects, unfortunately most of us are so programmed to just rely on them and never question it.

Anyways this is my list to check whether you might just be causing your own anxiety and things you can become aware of.
