Today’s post is on the difference between Shamans, Healers, Witches & Lightworkers!!!

What do all these terms mean? What is the difference between them?

This is what I found & what I resonate with the most, but some will disagree & some will say that one is better than the other!

Witch

I want to address this one first because I think it covers all the other terms used in this post (shaman, healer & lightworker) let me explain.

Firstly, the word Witch is often used or viewed by many people as a bad evil woman, who worships the devil and sacrifices in exchange for what she wants. But if you look at the history of where the word stem from, you will find out that the words witch & witchcraft was used to describe women who refused to confirm patriarchal rules. These women were outside of the societal status quo and refused to just follow orders that they did not agree with or believed to be right.

These women were and are natural healers of the Earth. Witches love the Earth and worship NATURE not Satan (what some people think!). What you see represented in media and Hollywood movies, that dark evil image of a witch is a myth and far from the truth.

Witches usually align themselves with the cycles of the Earth & the phases of the Moon & they live by the understanding of karma that everything they do comes back to them.

To be a Witch means you are also a Goddess, Priestess, Healer, Shaman & wise women who are here to serve and work with our Great Mother (Earth).

Shaman

Shamans, perhaps the most powerful of them all and I believe that’s because they work with the light and neutral power and energies. Shamans can heal, talk to the dead and other spirits, see the future and/or past, and attract luck and success.

A shaman is often referred to as a healer. They have the ability to “see” visions, travel between physical and spiritual realms, and transform energy. Some say, as children, shamans often suffered serious trauma or illnesses that they had to overcome

*** Be aware of fake Shamans! only cause one calls him/herself one doesn’t mean they are, I learned that from experience! Especially these days with plant medicine being so popular reaching mainstream I would be very careful.

Healer

Interesting enough, I recently discovered there are two types of healers: light and dark healers. Healers don’t necessarily have extrasensory abilities but they have the ability to control spirits, give healing power and influence your bioenergy fields contributing to the recovery of your, body mind and soul.

“A healer has the ability to “see” the person as a whole greater than the sum of their parts. The healer’s job is to help remove blocks to an individual’s growth. It is now an accepted fact that humans are electromagnetic beings. All illness results from the lowering of body frequencies below that necessary to maintain homeostasis. By raising the frequencies and aligning the various bodies, all the fields come into coherence. That is health”.

Spiritual healers are shamans in their own right. They are people who allow the energy of Spirit to flow through them in a way that guides, rejuvenates and empowers others. The spiritual healer is also a wounded healer. In other words, by healing themselves, they heal others, which is the absolute best kind of education available 🙂

Dark healers work with ‘wild natural spirits. Whereas light healers work with light and angelic forces. For instance, if you went to a healer for a particular disease you have, a light healer will send the disease to light or back to hell. Whereas, a dark healer sends the disease to others and sometimes random people and even their enemies.

 

Lightworker

Lightworker, indigo, starseed, Earth angels are just some of the terms floating around these days that to me are all essentially the same or have the same main mission, which is help humanity raise consciousness & heal the planet starting with themselves first.

A Lightworker is someone who makes a conscious decision to endeavour to answer the call of Source (light) over the call of the ego (fear).

There are two types of lightworkers: newly awakened lightworkers & retro lightworkers.

“Newly Awakened Lightworkers tend to have a significant awakening experience spurred on by a life event. Once awakened it is hard to go back to sleep and there is a feeling that things can never be the same. Their consciousness has shifted and they may decide to answer the call to be of service. Newly awakened Lightworkers seem to be able to jump right in and make big life changes in response to answering the newly awakened call within them.

Retro Lightworkers come in knowing. They have been doing this work for lifetimes and as a result may find that they have considerable fear around stepping forward (due to a soul memory of persecution). They are likely to have always had a knowing that they were here for a reason, that there was work to do and a feeling that time is running out. Erecting a spiritual closet from a young age is common for this type of Lightworker and as a result, revealing to the world who they really are is a scary process for them.”
